Moroccan Save the Date Wedding Cards

In a summer of pretty palettes of fresh muted colours, it was a lovely surprise to receive a request for a Moroccan style Save the Date card with a strong bold colour palette.  This destination couple from the USA are holding their wedding in Morocco and wanted wedding stationery to reflect their destination wedding.

After taking a good look around our websites and blog Amy came across one of my original Moroccan designs and liked the idea of this for their Save the Dates. My original design came with the option of a simple sea or mountain view, but whilst holidaying Amy had fallen in love with an image that depicted the Marrakesh skyline in silhouette on a sunset sky.  She loved the image so much that she snapped a picture of it in the bar in which it hung, her next question of course was “Is it possible to have a city landscape in place of the mountain sunset? I just love this……” How could I say no, with the colour palette and image inspiration she had just given me, it was a perfect choice! I had planned to revisit this design, so Amy was a big help with making me find the time!
